Delivery
General Delivery Terms
- All orders are delivered Duty Paid. As Trinkfluss Wines Ltd is a small start-up business, we are currently (as of September 2024) not VAT-registered. We are therefore unable to issue VAT invoices.
- Delivery times provided are estimates. While we strive to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as courier issues or adverse weather conditions.
If we are unable to deliver your order due to an incorrect address or if the recipient is unavailable, we will contact you to arrange a redelivery. Please note that additional charges may apply in such cases.
Standard Delivery (Mainland UK)
- Free Delivery: We offer free delivery to the UK mainland for orders over £90.
- Flat Rate: For orders under £90, a flat delivery fee of £12.95 applies per delivery address.
Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days. While most deliveries are completed within 2-4 working days, this may vary during peak periods or due to external factors. Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed the next working day.
Delivery to the European Union
For deliveries to the European Union, please contact us via email at hello@trinkflusswines.co.uk for a bespoke quotation. Note that customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or additional fees incurred upon entry to the destination country.
Signatures & Proof of Age
- Deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If you request delivery without a signature, it is at your own risk.
- We do not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. By placing an order, you confirm that you and the recipient are at least 18 years old.
- Our couriers may request valid photo identification (e.g., passport, driving license) upon delivery. If acceptable proof of age cannot be provided, the delivery will be returned to us. In such cases, refunds will exclude delivery costs.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order is damaged or contains missing items, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@trinkflusswines.co.uk. For damaged items, we may request photos of the affected products and packaging to assist in resolving the issue. Refunds or replacements will be processed promptly upon confirmation.
Returns
We accept returns of bottles in their original condition and packaging up to 30 days from the date of purchase. To initiate a return, email hello@trinkflusswines.co.uk. Refunds will be issued (excluding original delivery costs) upon receipt and inspection of the returned items.
The cost of returning items is the customer’s responsibility, and risk remains with the customer until the returned items are received by us.
Corked or Faulty Wines
We understand how disappointing a corked or faulty bottle can be. If you suspect a wine is faulty, please reseal it and contact us at hello@trinkflusswines.co.uk. We will arrange store credit or a replacement.
In some cases, we may require the faulty bottle to be collected by our courier for inspection, so please retain the wine until you receive further instructions.
Refunds, credits, or replacements are only offered up to three months from the purchase date, provided the bottles have been stored correctly.
Note: Mature or fine wines over 10 years of age are sold ‘as seen’ and are non-refundable.
