Special vineyard sites and old vines are the foundation of what Anna and Martin call their character wines. These are wines with a strong personality that combine elegance and depth. They reflect the character of their individual vineyards and the personality of the people working the land. These wines are, in effect, vineyard reserves from the best vineyards in Strass. The Riesling is characterized by the Strasser vineyards Gaisberg and Wechselberg. The wine matured for 11 months in large wooden barrels and was bottled without filtration. The result is a naturally cloudy, mineral and elegant wine with just the tiniest drop of residual sugar.
