A blend of Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, aged in large, used wooden barrels, this wine is super approachable and juicy. On the nose it offers ripe, dark aromas of black cherry, juniper berries, blackberry, and a hint of tea leaves, with an inky depth. The palate, by contrast, is delicate and finely structured, starting juicy with subtle tannins, almost dancing with its light-footed freshness and gentle spiciness.
This wine is a prime example of an all-day, all-night red – a versatile companion that beautifully reflects the dark, spicy terroir of the region, even though its composition changes each year. Crafted entirely by hand – from vineyard work to harvest and sorting – it embodies a no-frills, fun-loving spirit.
